SFTP is a network protocol that provides file access, file transfer, and file management over any reliable data stream.
SFTP can be used as an input and/or an output.

File type supported

  • JSON
  • TXT
  • CSV
  • XLSX
  • XLS

Syncing mode

  • Add data (Insert)
  • Erase and replace data (Drop)


To configure SFTP connector (the user needs to have access to the target directory and file with write privileges):

  1. Give a name to your connector
    [SFTP Connector] - Connector Name

  2. Fill URL, port and other information that RestApp needs in order to connect to your SFTP database
    [SFTP Connector] - Other info

  3. Test the connection and be sure it is successfull
    [All connectors] - Test successfull
